Heritage Trail


HERITAGE TRAIL AROUND THE COMPANY TOWN OF GOOLE
 
The town of Goole was the creation of the Aire and Calder Navigation Company during the 1820s.  Much of the original Georgian core still remains, clustered around the Aldam Dock, and this trail will take you round some of the many interesting old buildings which have survived.
 
The trail was produced by Peter Appleyard & Neil Walker (Goole Museum)
